Frequently asked questions
Can formatting change my data?
No. Output is rebuilt from the original tokens instead of re-serializing a parsed object, so long numbers keep their exact digits, duplicate keys survive, and escape sequences stay byte-for-byte.
What are the size limits and how are errors reported?
Input is capped at 200,000 characters and 128 levels of nesting, and formatted output at 2,000,000 characters. Syntax problems come back with the line and column so you can jump straight to them.
