URL lookup and server access logs

URL expansion, HTML source and feed tools send the full requested URL and browser language to AsKrs. Its server contacts the destination without forwarding your account cookies.

Operational server logs can include the access IP, browser information, request path, response status and time for security and troubleshooting. Nginx logs rotate daily and retain 14 rotated archives.

This service and other domains

This policy covers hub.askrs.com. Language, consent and saved comparisons belong to this site's browser storage.

Optional Google Analytics uses a Hub-specific cookie name on this host after analytics consent. It does not use a shared account ID or enable Google signals.

Information we store

AsKrs stores a small language preference value so your chosen locale can be remembered between visits.

File-based tools are designed to process uploads inside the browser. Files are not intentionally stored on AsKrs servers by default.

Where the site needs a short-lived cache for daily data, the cache is used to improve reliability and reduce repeated upstream requests rather than to build a personal profile.

Feature requests and support messages

When you submit the contact-page feature request form, AsKrs stores the request for the team and forwards it by email when mail delivery is available. The page also keeps an email option so you can send the same note yourself if you prefer.

Reply email fields are optional. They help AsKrs answer you, but the site does not require an account to submit a basic request.

Third-party services

Weather, exchange-rate, and gold-price pages request outside data with AsKrs. You use AsKrs directly, and AsKrs contacts those providers only when a fresh update is needed.

When advertising is enabled in production, AsKrs may load Google AdSense inside clearly labeled sponsored placements. Ad delivery and any related cookies are handled according to Google's policies and the visitor's browser environment.

AsKrs keeps the site-specific consent logic separate from upstream provider terms so analytics or advertising can remain off unless the runtime and visitor preferences allow them.

Search logs and trend analytics

Only after analytics consent, search rankings can record catalog-matching search terms, language, page path without its query, approximate country, result count and an anonymous session identifier. Free-form input outside the catalog is excluded.

Trending keyword pages rely on stored pytrends snapshots. If a fresh collection fails, AsKrs keeps the last successful snapshot online and records the collector status for operational monitoring.

Travel submissions and moderation

Text and optional images in anonymous travel submissions stay private until the information is reviewed and approved.

To reduce abuse, AsKrs can store hashed operational identifiers such as IP or device-related fingerprints for moderation, rate limiting, duplicate detection, and report handling. Reported or risky public travel content can be hidden temporarily while it is reviewed.
