How is the text protected?
AES-GCM with a 256-bit key derived from your password by PBKDF2-SHA-256 over 250,000 iterations, using a fresh random salt and nonce each time. All of it runs in your browser.
What if I forget the password?
The text is unrecoverable. Nothing about the key or the content is stored anywhere, so there is no reset.
